Hundreds came out over two days to witness the first Collier County pro rodeo event in almost 10 years. The Immokalee Volunteer Firefighters Association worked with Mason Pro Rodeo to bring the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) and Women's Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA) rodeo event to Immokalee as a catalyst for a fundraiser in order to purchase firefighting equipment. The event qualified riders for championship points towards qualifying for the Ram National Circuit Finals Rodeo in Kissimmee, Florida as well as the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas.
