JP Gorham of Hollis/Brookline High School is this year's 2008 Boys Student-Athlete of the Year. Gorham was a stand out in swimming capturing the N.H. state title in the 100 and 200-meter breaststroke and placing at New England’s. Not only talented in the water, Gorham excels in the classroom, posting a 4.3 grade point average. He will attend Dartmouth College this fall. He plans to swim on the men's team. Gorham also played soccer, helping to lead the team to a Class I final four finish. He also competed in track and field. "I am honored," Gorham said. "Because even just in my school there are a lot of good student-athletes as well as in the (Nashua) area."
